Stumbled across a good deal a few winters back. A local guy was selling a gto cheap. Supposidly the car was originally sold by us but I have been unable to confirm this as of yet. He got a little over zealous with his restoration project. This car is in as many pieces as a car could be. The body shell is in poor shape to say the least. The lip around the trunk lid that holds the seal is rotted away. There are holes in the top of the cowl. The floors are gone. The trunk pan is gone, as well as the inner fenderwells. So I think I will look for a southern body when money permits. It did come with a 455 out of a 73 TRANS AM so thats a bonus. This one is in long term project storage right now. He had all the seats redone and I also have new floor and trunk pans if I decide to redoo this body. It took 4 trucks to haul the parts home one for the frame one for the body one big one for the majority of the parts and one for the interior. Here's the big one full of parts. If all goes well I hope to make this into a judge clone. Paint it orbit orange with black interior and use that 455. It should look like these.

Boy have you got a project. But at least you know where you stand. I know poeple that have bought projects that didn't look that bad, but when they tore into it they found all kinds of nasty problems. And after they paid too much for it. Good luck and stop by and check out my Pontiac sometime, Rate it a tell me what it needs. Later, Kenny
