She will get done....when she gets done.  I had never done body work on a car until I started on this one.  This shows my ups and downs, and hold ups, and screw ups (hey no one is perfect). YES I AM A CHICK, that does body work, and a little mechanical work.  If you dont like that, I really dont care so get over it.

She basiaclly was droped into my lap. I was driving around the roads where I live and caught sight of her.  And i got that feeling "MINE."  I drove by several times before actually stopping by. Me and a friend took her out for a test drive.  She ran great. 2nd time we took out i got behind the wheel, and I was in love.  I talked the owner down a few hundred. We discussed payment that day and I told him i would be back in a few days with the cash. When I came back by the car was GONE!  I went to see the owner, Phillip.  He told me he sold it to a couple that stoped by. When he saw I was about to start crying, he broke down and told me that my boyfriend at the time bought the car for me as a surprise.  Wow what a surprise that was.

The 81 280zx was bought July 11, 2006.

The Interior will need alot of work.

The first day we took the fenders off and the front bumper. It was a pain, alot of the bolts were rusted and we had to resort to cutting one of them off. The original fenders were beyond restoring, they used some sort of mesh wiring under the bondo to hold it on. It began to fall apart as we took the fenders off. So...To THE JUNK YARD!!

we striped both fenders and put this stuff on it to kill the rust and hardens it. then we are gonna fix it with bondo (yes its a quick fix job, and i will replace it later down the line)

and the somewhat finish product....the holes are welded up..but the pic was taken b4 that. yea they rusting on me fast so i gotta get the patch pieces cut and welded on there...maybe get that done this week.

*COUGH* btw those fender were left in the shop over the weekend...fast acting rust right there!!
