I finally got the roll cage fabbed up and installed, thanks to Jose Perez... a friend of mine that owns Skills Ironworks in Arlington, Va. It was a trial and error build since neither him or I have ever built a cage before this one and on top of that, I wanted a completely custom one off 6-point cage... and Im very picky. The harness bar is removable and the main hoop is sandwiched against the walls of the a-pillar to allow me to install and remove my sub enclosure whenever I needed to. The front side bars are the type used for road racing so I could easily get in and out of the car without the shoulder bar in the way. I guess the only way that Ill find that out how strong it is now is if I ever flip the car(god forbid). All I have left now is to figure out how Im going to get all the factory plastics to go back into place around the cage with a little customizing, and finish prepping the cage which will be smoothed out then painted.

Now for some pix...

Main hoop being bent, he's waiting for me to take the damn pic becaue I was the one bending the tubes. You can also see my enclosure in the background standing on its end

All in all, I think it came out great... even though it took three weekends to get it done, working a few hours each week.
Also remember that this is a first for both of us, so if your experienced in building cages and see anything that we need to fix, should have done differant or that we did wrong... please let me know since the main purpose for this cage is SAFETY!
