Facts About the GT Suspension
The GT has linear rate springs in front which can withstand 450 pounds per inch. In the rear, the old springs were swapped out in favor of 210 pound per inch linear rate springs. These decreased the Mustangs ride stiffness and improved steering feel and response.
Facts About the GT Traction Control System
The traction control system is a Bosch system that works at all speeds to reduce wheel spin. Whenever wheel spin is detected the system retard ignition timing, cuts fuel flow, and activates the brakes at one or both drive wheels. The good thing is that the driver can turn the system off.
