skruffy50's 1993 Chevrolet Corsica

This is the Street Carp. Every other person i know calls it the Corsica, yet this is a great cruise vehicle, hence the carp reference.
I bought this at gas station in the middle of a Puerto Rican section of town. So as you can see it was never beat on because it doesn't have the word Honda or Toyota on it. Which is fine with me, i think imports are too cliche. Thats why i went out of my way to make this car a slightly different corsica.
These are mostly homemade mods. And homemade because first, there are no decent mod parts for sicas these days, and second, i am but a college student (no money).

The Taillight Mod - I think this is my original idea, i havent seen a corsica done this way yet. :) - Since i have a 93 the taillights are ribbed and i wanted to paint it up somehow. so I bought on ebay a pair of 90 taillights, the so called flat types. Then using mom's funnel, i created four circle cutouts, taped them to the taillights and spray painted them gloss black. I would have sprayed them grey but they couldnt match my old paint for some odd reason at the dealership, so f them.

I used black and they came out this way. Later on I added the red pinstriping. Good enough, right? My bragging rights on this is that my friend spent 200$ on altezza lights to get the circular taillight look, while i spent 15$ on my own custom. In the end, i still have my paycheck.

Yep, its nice and dark looking. At night, it looks like one of the old 80s thunderbirds driving by.

nice tail lights, how did you make them. I have been loocking for mods for my corsica but like you said they are hard to find. I just started to work on my corsica so it isn't even worth putting up a page for it yet.
