28-01-2007 finally fitted wider rims with 195/65-15 tires, the standard optional size for 140 series.
I must say I should’ve done this much earlier, the car looks just like it should be now. Road handling got a bit better, something I didn’t expect.

Still to come are lowered suspension, maybe PU bushing. After a desasterous year the 145 is back on the road

After a disastrous period the 145 is back on the road.

almost 2 years ago some idiot parked his car in my fender. After a check the front beams also seemed to rotten. Now the front beams, front plate, inner fenders and front suspension are replace.

The engine is rebuild with a higher compression. (cil.head height is now 87 was 88) Normal B18B spec. is 86.5mm but causes knocking often. Steal timing gears and a K-type camshaft is fitted. After the run in period a Weber DCD will be fitted, for which I still need a nice air filter.

In the rear a new axle is fitted with lowered springs.

The front has also been lowered whit custom spring, standard is 40mm (of course to little). Finally some optical things still have to be done, it was never my purpose to build a car in excellent state.
