The fixing progress
Special thanks for the supporting all elantraXD.com members, specially to BLK02XD (pay it foward guy), Slyderday (Pay it foward guy) and Silet.
After the fire comes the repairs. @#$%&! At least its fixable. I take3 advantage of the situation to add an Aeromotive 1:1 FPR, a return line setup, a set of 550cc injectors, an LC1 wideband and to change all vacuum lines to steel braided.
Here are some pictures of the repairs.
New radiator hoses and wastegate braided lines. New turbo shield.
The new CF hood will come from Canada along with a CF Grill and a CF trunk lid all made by CompactDivisions.com. It will take about 6 weeks to get here unless some one pay for expedited shipping. :-)
I guess that no Furious wheels for me this year
Set up and repairs completed before the '08 show. Here are some pictures of the engine bay
New vacuum block installed and braided hoses with AN fittings for every vacuum, oil, fuel lines.
Some pictures of my car in the show, I dont have any close ups because my camera and phone got stolen in the show but I guess that anyone will notice the orange part in the CF hood. The hood was repaired by Garage Charlie in Humacao who sponsored me and did it for free. So, I was able to make it to the show.
