2006 High Flow Intake Project
The stock intake is ok for daily driving, but the ports are small in comparison with other high performance engines like a KLZE.
Im making a custom high flow shortened intake for my F2T with hopes of raising the powerband for higher RPM.

The scribed line is how much larger Im porting the head to. I digitized a template and modified it in Rhino 3D CAD. Then cut it on my CNC

I am machine an Intake adapter block out of billet aluminum.

This has the curved transition from an oval intake runner to a rectangular intake port,machine in it and will hold the injectors. There will also be runners and a surge tank added.
Only one hole has been rough ported in the picture. I machine them close with a manual milling machine and then rough and finish port the by hand.
Notice the difference in size (>25%) over the stock intake
