Work I've done in 2003-2006: NEW Timing Belts, Water Pump,

Sachs Clutch Disc Spring Center Kit:
Clutch Pilot Bearing
Clutch Pressure plate bolts
Release bearing guide
Lever shaft and Bearings
Release Bearing

Also, Slave cylinder, Clutch Master Cylinder, Clutch High Pressure Line, front Wheel Bearings, Front Rotors and Brembo Pads, Axle shafts/CV Joints, Bilstein Performance Shocks, K&N AirFilter, Throttle Response Cam, Front hood and rear hatch struts and a Starter.

2007
Repaired the exhaust
Rebuilt the steering rack - Seal Kit
New sway bar bushings.
New front Porsche emblem and rear 944 silver emblem
New Rear Hatch Lock seal
New shift boot from www.Rennbay.com

2008
New Injectors since I came back from Iraq (Feb 08), they were very old and clogged bigtime! Runs like a dream now.
New both side window scrapers + clips and window rubber, Sunroof Hinge, sunroof bearing bracket
New Drip rail seals- I know these are really insignificant but they were cracked and deteriorated and it bugged me, so I had to replace it.

New Fiberwerks EVO II front spoiler, Assault rear spoiler, rear bumper and rocker panels

New Radiator Fan Switch - On at 85 deg

New sun roof seal and Left door Weather stripping - Pelican Parts

July 2008 - Painted Gloss Black

Dec 2008 - Posted New Alpine Receiver,  Next is NEW Rims!!!

2009

4 new Alpine speakers   Front, Middle, Plus the 2 Pioneer in the back  Total of 6 .

Replaced short Fuel Line jumper

Repaired Rear hatch momentary switch, replaced plastic clip on rear lock cable mechanism .

July 2009 -  New front Left Fog light, Turn Signal marker lights white. Looks sweet!

jeff36's 1986 Porsche 944 Aug 22, 2009 - Update: new rear hatch pins and pedal pads

 New music on page 4

FUTURE PLANS:

- New custom rims
- Recover seats and Interior mostly black
-

- Probably replace the 2.5 with a 2.7 and keep it NA since its not worth the time and money to make it turbo. I'd pay the same if I just sold it and got a Turbo and it would be better all around. There are many differences between a NA and a turbo besides the engine/turbo.
- Brake/Rotor upgrade
- Exhaust Upgrade 2.5 inch, remove cat, New headers Bursch or B&B.  If I do this I'll keep the 2.5/2.7 NA engine. It all comes down to $$.

- Strut bar

- New Dash, Carpet Kit, Steering Wheel, White Gauges or LEDs

I love the signature sound of the Porsche engine and it is the heart of the vehicle.

The best thing about the 944 is not the power it is the handling. Where other cars will need to slow down, the 944 has can carry through the turns.
