I was driving in Newcastle the other day and a double decker bus decided he'd take off my mirror! GRRR! Always the optimist, I saw this as an excuse to buy some DTM cup mirrors. Usually you have to buy the base plates separately but since they only had the display model left in stock I made them throw them in for free YESSSA!!!
To get the old mirror off I had to take off the doorcard, loosen a few screws and push through the grommit. Line up the new base plates and screw them on. Piece o’ piss!
A subtle difference I know but I think it looks much better, compare at will. 
Yes yes, for the detectives among you, i know the side repeaters are stanard in the above pix, this is because the mirrors went on first but jus to keep the flow going abit more i told you all about the exterior lighting first, okay? lol
