1978 Ford Mustang II, 302 V8 4BL, just obtained and will have step by step progress of restoration! I need some suggestions on what color and stripe type to put on this mustang. Or if i should do a king cobra clone?? Not sure yet but i'm leaning towards dropping in a 347 Stroker with a T-56 and 9" ford rear end. Any suggestions/comments would help. Another Cobra II, I really like this car and may do mine pretty much like it. The only problem is finding a stripe kit like that on the market?? Any ideas?

Very cool, I'm in the process of restoring almost the same car (one pic posted in my garage so far) I will be repainting it the factory white with green stripes. Stripe kits are still available as well but pricy so I have painted them instead.

hey i have a 78 mustang ii fastback and am looking to sell cause i dont have the money to cmplete it it is 90% finished on the out side body work wise there is a small dent in the left rear quarterpanel. comes w a 351 windsor,w only 15,000 on the motor. im willing to part out or sell as whole car fenders and hood are currntly off of the vehicle due to the engine swap. not looking for a whole lot of money just whats fair. let me know if you need any thing off of it ,will be posting pics soon.

yea good luck on that stripe kit thay havent made that style since 1988 belive me i have checked cause thats what my car looks like it was a barn find thats been in a barn for 15 years......all it needs is to be put back together check it out the white one is for parts for when you shut the door the whole quarter panels goes back and forth you should see it its kinda kewl .......lol anyways i will keep updating and the only way to get them stripes is by a decal company or someone painting it on there
