Finally I installed the new headlamp. it is a good 2 inches larger in diametre than the original Honda headlamp, hence better ilumination, better visibility and better looks.
Love the end result!!!! The original Honda headlamp bucket was made in cheap plastic, this new lamp has a metal bucket, stronger and sturdier!!!

For comparison, check out the previous wimpy stock headlamp!
jaimesix's 1982 Honda CRX jaimesix's 1982 Honda CRX On the previous 2 pictures you can see a one on one match between the improved lamp and the stock one. The difference is obvious, and the benefits writ. My bike ( silver one ) with the stock lamp is seen next to the comparison picture. Next, we can compare the wimpy little stock lamp on the black bike below to the right, and the improved lamp on my silver bike below left. Not only looks, but a 300% improvement on visibility and candlepower efficiency. It is the same light bulb, but the larger reflector allows for maximization of candlepower. Simple, yet the best improvement done on the bike on a dollar by dollar efficiency basis. I call this "Streamlining candlepower"jaimesix's 1982 Honda CRX jaimesix's 1982 Honda CRXjaimesix's 1982 Honda CRX jaimesix's 1982 Honda CRX

Accel coils work great. Like in a car, good coils add power through better hotter spark. I heard Dyna coils are good too. It is a great mod on a bike, the power and swiftness gains are well worth the effort, simple, yet very efficient. Jaime.______________________________________________________
