BadA55GeoDude's 1993 Geo Metro

My bike there is a OLD Honda Cb360... Still runs like a charm though... Anyways, this is not a page about that but of the car behind it... Hey, this was a cheap car I bought for about 250$... Now I'm doing more mods then I can list... One being I bought two extra donor cars: a 1992 Pontiac Firefly 3cyl.; and a 1996 Suzuki Swift 4cyl. ... I'm planning on using most of the parts from the Swift such as: the motor, the seats, the rear bench, interior and exterior wiring harnesses, and the wheel/rims combo... This means in that 1993 Geo Metro I'm planning on putting a 4cyl. engine in the bay, nicer seats and "up-to-date" wiring which comes in handy to me because I'm an apprentice mechanic and it makes my job easier to diagnose with my OBDII scan tool...Also, the tires will look alot better because they fill out the wheelwells much better then the old 12's... Get this, they're 13's! The 1992 Firefly is used for the bumpers, the steering column, the rear hatch, the door mechanisms and the sound system... Here's my excuse... I lost my set of keys for the car only a month after I got the car... So I was in the process of searching for door locks and steering lock... Anyways, this is going to be a project car over the winter... Ontario, Canada has the strickest laws I've ever heard of with all these emissions stuff... The cars I bought were either emissions regects or the cars fell apart...

Here's what I plan over the winter to do to this car:
1. Sound system (cheap Sony Xplod CD player (for now!))
2. New paint job (blk)
3. New bigger motor
4. New 2 tone painted interior (red/blk)
5. Newer seats & seat covers to match the painted interior (most likely the cheap NOS red/blk seat covers)
6. Rear heated hatchback
7. Tinted windows
8. New windshield (the one in there won't pass safety)
9. Repaint the rims (maybe just find nice 13 inch wheel covers)
10. Under car neon strips
11. Lighted tailpipe
12. Neon, neon, neon EVERYWHERE inside the car

*I just need help or to know what you think about my future plans for this car. And if you'd have suggestions please feel free to sign my guestbook or even e-mail me @ camaros_rock_66@hotmail.com...

hey man i'm not really sure if your serious about doing this car, but here's what i think. i had one of these and about all it was good for was gas mileage, a whole 55 mpg. Mine had a 5 speed, and lets face it, that 3 cyl is a joke. It can't get out of it's own way. so what ever mods you put on the 3 cyl, it will still be a joke. now my plan, before i wrecked mine in a demo derby, was to put a small block chevy v-8 in it, and make it rear wheel drive. but the key is to make it look completly stock. now thats cool. that's got to be good for at least a 12 sec quarter mile. there's my bit, take it for what it's worth.
