Hey guys

Engine is a 1994CC SOHC 8V turbo lump, fuelled by a single SU carb. As stock they put out 150bhp and 166lb.ft but in reality horsepower was always closer to 170-175. All ive done so far is an Alloy intercooler, ball bearing turbo with larger compressor wheel, cold air box ,straight through 2.25" exhaust and at 14.5psi(runs 10/11 as standard) it made 187@wheels(216@fly) and 231 lb.ft. New engine will be 2168cc with bigger valves etc but ill change this when its done.

Ran a 14.454@98.6mph drive in drive out, no lightening or special tyres. Not bad for an old rust bucket.

UPDATE: About two months after this(late summer of 06) after fitting a cold air induction kit(ally cold air box, two 3" cold air feeds and a cotton cone filter) and 15psi i ran a 14.3@99.x with a missed 4th gear(synchro was a bit iffy) beating a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 8 GSR in the process who ran a 14.45 @95 :D One up to the underdogs.
