New  Larger 35"MickeyThompson MTZ's are pretty good! They really impressed me in the snow. driving up steep hills and stickin the whole time. The forward to rear traction is better than the side to side traction. I would say the ratio 60/40.

Got the new simulated beadlocks (real ones are not street legal. well not any that are cheap!) Love the black on black so I wanted to stick with that. the wheels have maybe a half of an inch or so more off set than my last set. looks great.

My suspension is a mongrel of 3 different companies. Rubicon Express, tera-flex, and Currie Enterprises. Springs, Shocks, and track bars are all Rubicon. Belly up skid plate, and Dana 30 high steer kit are Tera flex. Currie anti rock and Johnnie Joint adjustable control arms, upper front and rear and lower front and rear.

BTW Please take time to vote on my jeep, and please sign my guest book.

this is a good shot of my tera high steer kit. on a recent trip i bent the tie rod though. i creased it against the pumpkin and it kinda stayed. its not too bad. its almost unnoticeable. but in the future i plan on drilling the tapered holes in the knuckles straight through and using heim joints instead of ball-joints. I also plan on replacing the tie rod with a chromoly one. to make the steering perfect i would also need a flat pitman arm to raise the drag link so it is parallel withe the track bar.7TEL860's 2001 Jeep TJ                                                                       here my wife flexes down one of the local trails. its even harder coming up. its pretty steep...it has softball to bowling ball size rocks....and it takes some flex and aired down tires to make it up.

7TEL860's 2001 Jeep TJ                                                                                  I like my short arms. they have helped a lot in the flex department. they also provide a lot of clearance so im not dragging my arms all over the trail. They just need to be about an inch longer though.

7TEL860's 2001 Jeep TJthe one to the right is flexed with the rear sway-bar connected. It flexes a lot more with the rear disconnected.

this was a really long story! but basically i got stuck trying to pull a big ass chevy out of the mud he was buried above his 38" Tsl's. i knew i couldnt...but I felt bad for the gut....so I tried......and had to high-lift each wheel up and fill in the holes afterwards. after that we hooked up another vehicle to me and had 2 vehicle's trying to pull him out. no dice! he had to get a tow truck the next day. you know that cost a lot of cash!

thats my daughter in the drivers seat.

above is one of our snow trips with a couple of buddy's.behind (keyword) my jeep is my friends samurai. not to knock em though cuz they are very capable vehicles when prepped correctly and and have some when who know's what theyre doing behind the wheel. It is very important to know your vehicle and its limits.

7TEL860's 2001 Jeep TJ to the left u can see how much clearance the belly up skid plate from tera-flex gave me. to do it i had to raise the engine mounts and of course get a cv drive-shaft and heavy duty slip yoke eliminator kit from advanced adapters. The adjustable upper and lower control arms form currie also gave me the ability to adjust my pinion angle to reduce driveline vibrations.

7TEL860's 2001 Jeep TJ

7TEL860's 2001 Jeep TJi could get more flex if it was on the flexy setting, but because this was just a day trip that kinda turned out to be a wheelin trip, I had it on the second to the last hole to the stiffest side.
