**I'm still working on uploading more pictures but my computer is slower than molasses in a Nebraska February**
This is a 1950 IHC L-130...my grandpa gave me this truck for Christmas of '05 with a little chuckle and a "I hope you know what your getting into". He parked the truck in the early '70s and it still ran when it was parked. For sitting in the harsh weather of Nebraska, the truck only has one spot that is completely rusted through (that I have found and trust me, I've looked) and its only the size of a half dollar maybe.
So far the only progress made on the truck is: the bed has been removed, got 4 of the 6 spark plugs out, every moveable part (or once moveable) has had a good spray down of WD-40, cleared out some of the leaves and other junk in the cab, and made a new friend---->that would be a mouse in the truck that i saw several times running through the seat and into the door.
I have great plans for this thing in my head but the bank account is disagreeing with my ideas...I'm hoping to get a better job next summer make some money and at least get the truck running.
After I removed the trees from around the truck i removed the bed. The BEFORE and AFTER pictures...I don't think I need to explain which one is the BEFORE and which one is the AFTER :)
The interior is pretty much shot. I don't know how else to put it...all i can say is a whole lot of elbow grease will be used. The seat has been torn apart by mice and weather. The dash is rusted, there are holes in the doors from mice and it just looks like crap.
