I am starting to rebuild the car, I strating with sandblast the rear axles beam and paint in black, I change the axles beam bushing and I make my rear disk brake conversion. It will have brembo disk and ceramic pad. I also buy new calipers, because it was not in very good condition.

The amount of work your doing is comparable to building a skyscraper. I feel that your car is going to be a force to be reckoned with. If your looking to put a new engine in check out my golf page i am trying to compile as much info as possible on all VW engines. Let me know what you think.

I would personally go with a 16 V swap, I know i seem biased towards the 16V but with good reason. Did you see the 750hp Audi in Euro Tuner this month? It has a VW/Audi 16 Valve, it seems these engines are extremely capable. let me know what you think, and keep me updated.
