This is my 1970 Roadrunner Coupe. This is an orginal 440 6 pack 4 speed car and is 1 of 429 produced. The car was drag raced for many years and sub frame connectors have been added, the springs have been moved inboard for tire clearance and the rear wheelwells have been sectioned. It currently has 4.56 gears in the factory Dana. I am really looking forward to this restoration but my 1968 Charger will need to be first as I have most of the parts already and it is well on it's way.
These cars are what drag racing was al about. No frills, no gimmicks just light weight and made for one thing only, kicking ass on the drag strip. This car will be exceptional when complete and when you pop the hood and see the big air cleaner covering up the three deuces you will drool.
I have also picked up an air grabber hood for this car which is currently in storage.
Notice the location of the factory decal and the crayon marks on the trunk lid.
