The Samurai accesories are plenty.jaimesix's 1988 Suzuki Samurai The SPOA suspension kit for the leaf sprung Samurai is a practical way of lifting a Samurai, all that is needed is to weld in new spring perches on top of the axle. The same springs can be used, but longer shocks and brakes lines are needed. A longer pit man arm and a adjusted steering link complete the package. 4.5 to 5 in in lift are easily attainable.

Diesel engines are usually factory installed Turbo powered. Here is the Peugeot 1.9 Turbo diesel engine. Both pictures are of the 1.9 engine, perhaps different years or installed at different countries , but it is the same engine. jaimesix's 1988 Suzuki Samurai.

Other kinds of improvements include a DOHC Suzuki Swift engine, and the Suzuki 1.6 engine. Samurais in japan where produced with the 660CC and 550CC Turbo 16 valve engines, the 1.3 8 and 16 valve engines, and the DOHC 16 valve engines.
jaimesix's 1988 Suzuki Samurai This is " giuseppeSB " 's ( Peruvian member here at Car Domain ) DOHC engine. I am not sure if this is a factory or a swapped engine. I will find out.
Here we can also see the Samurai 1.3 engine with dual Weber Sidedraft Carburetors.

Several other configurations exist. The dual ( twin ) DCOE Weber carburetors are the simplest and most efficient way of making a 1300 or any engine for that matter perform to its real limits.jaimesix's 1988 Suzuki Samurai . A trikced cam adds to the aquation.

Headers, worked out cam,and twin DCOE Weber set up is the way to go !

Here is the engine I think will replace the 1300 8V current powerplant. It is a Suzuki Vitara 2.0L 4 in line engine. Trail Tough sells the instalation kit to bolt it on to the Samurai's gear box. jaimesix's 1988 Suzuki Samurai jaimesix's 1988 Suzuki Samurai
