I thought I would update this. I've sold the car but this is so old it doesn't have the EJ swap info.
Ok, so its a 89 Brumby/Brat. 2" lift kit running 6stud 14" wheels with Kumho 27x8.5 M/T tyres or 15" alloys with 215/60 street thread. Alloy bullbar with two rectangle spotties. 3" SS rollbar with tonneau cover to suite. EJ22 with a custom gearbox setup using EJ Dual Range casing, EA82t FT4WD gears and centre lockable diff, and EA82 PT gearbox 1.59 to 1 low range gearset. This gave me a AWD gearbox with selectable 4WD and low range.
I customised the front suspension using EA82 rear narrower softer but longer springs, customized Ford Falcon radius rods which pushed the wheels a little over an inch further forward to give a positive caster angle. I also customised the control arms to correct positive camber and give 2 degrees of negative camber for better handling. I did try a custom camber adjuster idea on the control arms but this kept going loose and was a recipe for disaster so I made the arms to set the camber always at 2 degrees negative.
It had a Coupe dash installed before I got it which is fitted with a factory tacho. Also had a small thick sports steering wheel. I installed underbody lighting for offroad using 12v fluro tubes and a hella wide beam spot light for rear lighting.
I done many many many more mods but its all too much to write up on here. My site has many of them on it in articles have a look, http://offroadingsubarus.com
My current Subaru is a 83 Sedan Leone, you can see a fair bit about that on there too.
I've also uploaded from videos to CarDomain, have a look how ever you do that!
Cheers,
