Rarest of a rare breed....5 speed manual transmission Subaru Legacy AWD Touring Wagon. Only 3000 of these turbo wagons, featuring the venerable EJ22T engine, were produced, all with automatic transmissions. The only way to have a manual transmission in one is to perform this well-documented swap.
Recently completed, this 1993 version features an '05 5 speed AWD transmission with under 5K miles on it. This upgrade has transformed this beauty into the ultimate sleeper wagon. Additional performance upgrades include an Exedy stage 1 hydraulic clutch, ACT lightened flywheel, New CV axles, shift linkage and clutch master slave components.
The intake/exhaust section features, a WRX TD04 turbocharger, wheezing through a Saab all aluminum intercooler. It exhausts through a Megan downpipe, Blitz NurSpec R 3" exhaust and Magnaflow hi flow cat.
Putting the power to ground are WRX wheels wrapped in IceBear all season winter tires suspended on KYB GR2 struts.
Interior features include an Alpine/Boston Acoustics/Clarion system, and Autometer boost gauge.
New mechanical parts abound: Walbro fuel pump, radiator, OEM oil pump, water pump, timing set, cam seals, crank seals, and hoses.
Extra parts include a Halman manual boost control and a 3.90 LSD rear diff, and many more hard parts.
