BY LOOKING THE POLL.......I CHOSE TO PUT IN A SHORT SHIFTER FOR THE CAR.

Took out the old lever......

Here is the comparison between the old and the new (from SFR- I totally recommend this if anyone is as against the expensive and boring stock shifter!)

The old is the long one on the left, the new is the short one on the right. I broke the old bushing in 2 trying to pry it out....hahaah.......(luckily the kit came with a new bushing)

Installed!!!! I just re-used the old boot by cutting off the top and tie strapping it on (the knob is a momo....forget the name...there are so many!

Shifting is awesome.....short, crisp, precise!!!!.....drastically better than before.

Very nice ride! Looks like a Turbo...
If you want aftermarket exhaust, go with Lindsey Racing.
Have fun with it

Hey man... very nice car. Clean! About the exhaust though, don't go 3 inches. You will lose low end torque thus accelerate slower (very small diff, but still). And im not sure youre going to gain that much at high RPMS, the 2.5 inches still is free flow for your engine power, Porsche designed that exhaust to get the most out of the engine. I would consider it on a 400hp modified Turbo but not on your car. Just my point of view (i just graduated from mechanical engineering). Check out my 944 NA!!!

Hey man, nice 944. I like the black rims with the red calipers. I know a guy with a 1986 1/2 928S, its a awesome car, only 60K. I have loved the look of the 944 for a long time, hope to get one in a few years. Check out my SVT focus sometime, later. C.J.

Shifter was fine before in my opinion. Anyway, nice car overall. Probably the cleanest interior I've ever seen. Hope you get to do more to it after college!
