This truck has never been tested on a dyno. However, when I did the buildup, I simply did a copycat of what a few others have done before. Those engines have laid down between 205-215 rear wheel horsepower. Comparing to the 5.0L V8 that was available in Mustangs, and Explorers, this V6 engine should have more horsepower, and similar torque. I had a compression test after a one year break in. It was cyl1: 230psi cyl2: 230psi cyl3: 240psi cyl4: 240psi cyl5: 230psi cyl6: 230psi.
When it comes to speed, this truck is pretty fast for being a V6 SUV on 33 inch mud tires. I made a trip to a local drag strip last year to test it out. On a hot & humid 94 degree Dallas afternoon, I got a time of 10.666 at 63.52mph. This was accomplished with a 60ft time of 2.447sec. For comparison, there was a 2005 2wd Dodge Hemi truck there. His best time was 10.601 that hot afternoon. So the way I see it, this V6 SUV, on huge tires can keep up with a Hemi Dodge truck in the 1/8th.
