One of 1500 GTI 337's built. The 337 is the real 20th anniv. car!
Not saying the american 20th is not but the 20th year for the gti in the states was 2003. The 20th anniv in germany was 2002 so knowing they were bringing this car here they named it the 337 which was the orginal body code for the gti in germany. The 20th anniv german edition is just like the 337(same year)Hope this helps with the confusion of the 337/20th wars.
I fell in love with this car as soon as i knew it was coming.Being a vw tech at the time was my in to atleast getting to work on one. To my suprise I was able to be the first person to drive and set this car up for delivery,the car was sold by a friend to a friend at the dealership. I became the sole tech to work on the car, then later to my suprise again i was able to buy the car and do with it as i see fit.
