also you can throw in a supra diff and wait till you land on the right lsd diff at pull apart mine where 25 bucks limited or not i got them because the 4.3 gears are going to kick ass in the dirt and its not a after market gear set

Yep, that's me. I debated doing the Supra diff conversion using John's adapters, but the BMW kit meets my requirements and budget, and I'm not waiting on John to finish developing it. I did look for Supra lsd diffs for a year and never found one for less than $200. I found several BMW lsd diffs (in lots of different gear sets) for under $200. My 3.15 geared lsd was $125. If you want more info on the BMW diff conversion, check out the threads on MerkurSport by member Phlat65 (a local guy to me and JVAB).

Ya john talked alot about you and how your kickin butt on the track with your new breaks small world if thats you. I dont know to much about the bmd diff but the supra diff is dirt to get with parts buy the boat load from the truck world, gear sets are 130 bucks. and john was talking about shimming up the limmited slip but i dont think that would do much good on the track. Im William Im trying to kick john in to gear with the diff swap kits i have one in my car now its the first one i just need to start cutting the parts and building them it fits great the problem for some would the removing the fuel pump bracket. But for rally the burly factor is thew the roof.

Thanks for the comments. Not sure what brake solution you're talking about, but I've done a big front disc conversion from JVAB (283mm x 1.25" 2 piece rotors with 4x1.62" Wilwood FBSL calipers). As for the diff, I'm doing a conversion a friend (and fellow XR guy) has developed. It's a bolt-in kit to solid mount the beam and install an BMW E36 LSD diff. I'll be running a 3.15 geared diff with a 4 cyl. Mustang WCT5 (3.97 first gear), which should be a nice match.
