The
Shaker Scoop base will need to be modified for the 750 Holley/Edelbrock Performer RPM air gap intake set-up.

Exhaust will route through Hedman long tube headers and exit through glass pack mufflers in Patriot Show Tube side pipes.
The Patriot 4-to-1 glass pack side pipes along with the polished wheels and alumiunum sport mirrors. These items will be the only contast shine on the car after everything is body color keyed...

For wheels, I will either go with a traditional period wheel like the American Racing Torque Thrust II, a flat dish Centerline Racing wheel, or a modern wheel like the AR Hopster. Let me know what you think.

I plan to mount mini gauges in a fiberglass custom pod in the fashion of the early SS Camaros (similar to the above gauges) in the front storage area of the console.

I will custom fabricate the billet aluminum gas door into the body, eliminating the twist off factory cap.
The billet aluminum R/T emblems will go on the front fenders in place of the existing Aspen badges.

To keep the underhood goodies where I put them, locking hood pins will help deter the curious;-)

With the help of KYB shocks and Competition Engineering traction bars, the solid frame car should get a nice launch. To better help with the weight distribution, the battery will be moved to the trunk.

For the ignition, I went with a proven package. Consisting of an MSD Probillet distributor, MSD 8.5 wires, and an MSD 6AL ignition.
To secure the MSD ProBillet distributor, the best choice was a Mopar Performance distributor hold-down clamp.

For the engine, I went with another tried and true product. The ARP engine bolt kit. Not only will this provide a stronger motor, it also helps maintain the correct seals and fit. Worth every cent, and better than digging through a coffee can for the correct bolt...

To help keep the new engine cool, and shave off a little more weight, we will run an oversized composite radiator. To accommodate the larger radiator, custom 4x16 aluminum brackets were made.
To move the air across the new radiator, we elected to run a Summit Racing fan/shrod combo. The ten blade electric fan is 14 inches in diameter, and the low profile shroud is made entirely of aluminum.

To work with the SHAKER scoop, custom AC brackets, a new 7312 compressor and drier were supplied by JR Bouchillion Performance.

In addition to hiding all the wires, to clean up under the hood the large plastic catch jug will be replaced with a polished aluminum unit. The windshield washer reservoir will be replaced with a one gallon RCI plastic fuel cell, and relocated to the trunk.

Since we decided to stick with a V-Belt setup for the small block, a new pulley set was required. BPE has complete set with the correct AC bracket for this application.

Mancini Racing had the correct alignment brackets for the Power Steering and the Alternator.

Since we are converting from a 904 to a 727, new cables were required. Rather than go with a factory three piece kickdown, I elected to install a LOKAR one piece unit and a Lokar bracket/spring set-up.
To mate the 360 to the 727, we will use a B&M flexplate.

Anyone who has ever had a Mopar with headers knows that the starter is one area to NOT skimp on. So another tried and true part was purchased for this build, a Mopar Performance high torque mini starter.

The BMW fnder vents will be modified for the Dodge. In place of the M3 badge, I will have R/T badges made.

To help clean up the exterior lines, I'm deleting the external antenna and installing a stealth interior antenna.

I ordered new weather stipping for the car. It already has new trunk and hood seals, so this will complete it. The door window channel seals were a bear to find!!! The only source out there for the Mopar F-Body is
Jim's Autoparts. If you plan to hang on to your ride, you may want to consider buying a pair of these before the disappear for good!
