I'm 17 and i've just started learning to drive. I may be jumping the gun a bit but i'm thinking on what car to buy. I don't have a big budget, £2000 pounds sterling max which is about $3775 US dollars, preferably with low insurance and not older than around 1993. I would prefer a hatchback, and i don't want to import a car.

I Live in the UK So i don't want a car too old because it would be difficult to find spares or someone who knows too much about them. It would be difficult for me to get hold of too many American cars because the only cars the UK Sells that are american are Chevrolet, Cadillac and Chrysler, and there aren't an extensive range of these. Ford is the only manufacturer that sells a wide range of American cars in the UK.
