this is my dads project.its a 74 dodge challenger that hes had since he was 16.he took it apart when he was younger so he wouldnt end up wreckin it nemore then he already did. it origanly had a 318 in it and i think a 904 trans but hes putin in a 340 out of a 73 dodge dart and a 727 trans he bought off some guy. he is paintin it flat black w/ black wagon wheels,8" wide up front n 10" wide out back.
instead of writeing "wash me" i wrote "build me" across the windshield b4 he really started doin nething 2 it.notice the headers hangin on the wall, currently on his chrysler 5th avenue a couple yrs ago b4 he painted the dr and the left front fender the front view...ive been tellin him hes gotta shave the side marker lights side pic.its sitin on ramps n jack stands so he can do some work 2 the underside taillights, u can kind of c the spoiler he has on it mopar and thrush bird on both quarter windows on the trailer 2 go get the underside sandblasted rust hes gotta fix on the left quarter panel infront of the rear tire the 340 engine.still needs diffrent valve covers and everything else 340 almost complete black wrinkle finish valve covers on 3 speed overdrive trans cleaned and painted, basicly a 4 speed. hole cut in floor for new trans tunel wit the tranny in motor on the engine stand waitin 2 get put back in motor hangin to get put back in we use the garage door frame and a come-a-long to pull motors motor back in carb and fan on,still needs to find pullys got the hood on,looks wierd without fenders the ralley dash and tuff wheel 150 MPH speedo the racing mirror my dad got the racing seats hes got in it since the orignals r all riped the original back seat is in MINT condition w/ NO rips interior thro the back window. better pic of the interior rear 10" wide rims front 8" wide rims the underside sandblasted rust hes gotta fix on leftside of trunk rust he gotta fix on right side(left sides the same) got the paint on the roof sanded off got the roof painted got a pair of black antennas for the quarters got the spoiler permenantly mounted again got the 340 four barrel emblems mounted challenger emblem on right side of spoiler what ull c comin in ur rear view mirror what ull b cin pullin away from ya after it passes u looks like its ready to roast the rear tires in a donut sittin in the driveway without the front clip waitin to get the motor pulled to do some frontend work front end all ripped apart the wimpy radiator support. he's gonna make a custom heavy duty one the wimpy support braces on the inner wheel well to the firewall in the wheel well. he's also gonna make some heavy duty ones hood hinge area thats gotta b fixed. other side is the same way hood hinge area welded up. other side is also welded rusty area that gotta b fixed on top the wheel wells top of whell well fixed, just needs a coat of paint he started fixin the left side pile of body panels in the garage custom brace he made to help stiffin it up got the bottom of the radiator support cut off to have a custom heavy duty 1 made the new 1 he made up. the old whimpy one above the new beefy one front suspension just about done and lookin like an open wheel racer got the right front fender striped and patched
cool pic i took from up in a tree. the grey car is another challenger under some hoods and doors.to the right of it is a old 47 or so dodge cab and the blue roof is off a 73 duster we had gotten for my rolled over 74 dart...i gave up on that project
