This is a 1985 Lamborghini Countach Replica. It is one of the more exact kits you will see. The front air dam, front bumper, front fenders, front and rear fender flares, rocker panels, rear scoops, and all vents (made of metal and powder coated) are all seperate pieces bolted to the body as in the original. Many of the kits you will see the body/fenders are formed as one piece, not like the original. Also many kits the engine compartment and trunk lid are formed as one piece, this kit has seperate pieces, and actually has a full rear trunk. The fiberglass shell was from a chassisworks company in IL that went out of business long ago..

The doors where shaved and utilized electric solenoids to open the doors, as did the trunk and the hood...

This was a grounds up replica build. A full custom stainless steel chassis was designed and built for the car. The front utilized a custom built Mustang II style cross member made out of stainless steel and manual steering rack. The front A-arms where custom built un-equal length tubular A-arms with coil over shocks. The rear also utilized custom made un-equal length tubular stainless steel A-arms with twin coil over shocks per side. Front spindles and brakes from an Olds Tornado where utilized on the rear to attach the Porsche output shafts to the rear wheels.

A new Chevrolet 350 small block crate engine was used for the base of the powerplant. The stock cam was replaced with a HydRoller cam from CompCAM, along with CompCAM push rods and rocker arms. The intake was a Weiand Action+Plus Dual Plane intake with a Holley 650CFM spread bore with mechanical secondaries. This combo producing 385 HP and was mated to a special built 5 speed Porsche transaxle with 1st gear removed, basically making it a 4 speed.

Two custom 10 gallon stainless steel tanks where built and installed just behind the seats and forward of the radiators.

Cooling was provided by two custom Ron Davis aluminum radiators one each mounted in the rear pods under the rear air scoops like the original car.

The battery, A/C unit, master and clutch cylinders, and electric motor to control the headlights where all mounted in the front hood.

The windows where electric and like the original car only rolled down 2 inches due to the angle of the windows to the door. A Vintage Air compact series A/C-Heater-Defrost unit was utilized to keep the car drivable in all seasons. The interior while not exactly matching the original was close. A full set of autometer gauges where utilized. Replica fiberglass seat shells where utilized and covered with white leather to mimic the original seats.

A rear mounted camera was mounted just below the trunk, it looks like a key hole for the trunk to allow me to see when backing up vs. having to set on the threshold like many Countach drivers are use to doing.

I sold the car to a gentleman in Florida in 2006 in order to make room for Ronin GT build , the plans for the Ronin GT where scraped due to cost and delays in late 2006 and instead we are now building a 1965 Chevy C/K ProStreet Truck.
