This is a wonderful car. The best driver's car I've ever owned (see my garage here). I am an avid maintainer and this car hasn't been treated with any exceptions. I am good friends with the previous owner and we�ve both loved it. He treated the car right and maintained it well, always fueled with 93 octane fuel and changed oil with Mobil 1 full synthetic. His engine seized and he had a professionally Nissan engine installed along with a brand new OEM clutch (I have pictures below of all receipts). A lot of this car's drive train is close to that of a NEW Z! No holes barred, no shortcuts, this car was built right by David and Clarence at Clarence's Auto Repair in Remington, IN (phone: (219) 261-2303). This is a place of VERY high repute that does fantastic work. You get what you pay for!

This car is the ideal driver in every way. Properly maintained this car should last a long time!

THERE ARE NO LEAKS WHATSOEVER FROM ENGINE, TRANNY, OR DIFFERENTIAL AND NO GRINDING GEARS!
All fluids in the car were replaced with new engine install (this includes: oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze with water wetter, and fluids in brake and clutch systems), I�ve got all the bottles to prove it. THERE ARE NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS. All instruments and power options work except the CD player for sure as I will be taking the Alpine Stereo. The passenger side window is a little slow.

This car runs like it's supposed to, quick revving and fast. It brakes hard and doesn't pull to one side when driving or breaking. Notice it just got aligned! It corners incredibly and is very stiff and easy to feel in the corners. The LSD locks flawlessly. The clutch holds firm and never slips in the least. The gears do not grind. There are no warning sounds from anywhere: engine, tranny, or differential. The car does not run hot. The temp gauge ALWAYS stays planted right in the middle.
THIS CAR DOES NOT HAVE THE NORMAL Z POWER STEERING PROBLEMS! The power steering works and does not wine!!

MECHANICALLY, AS YOU CAN SEE, THIS CAR IS PERFECT AND WILL LAST A LONG TIME, it's alive with vigor!

I am not overlooking anything. I take very good care of all of my cars and don't shortcut mechanically ever, this car runs great with all the top OEM parts, best fluids, and replacements of anything needed. If you've never driven a 300zx, you're in for a real treat! It is a driver's car in every way and an absolute BLAST to own!

As for the body, it shines well for the year of the car, but the paint is original. There was a fender bender in the front right corner of this car. This was done by the previous owner and I've driven it everywhere fine since, including a trip to Detroit, MI. It dented the fender and bumper and pushed down the supporting frame a slight bit. There was no frame damage of the actual driving frame, just light body damage and a little worse fitment of panels, the car as stated, drives great! I personally replaced the body panels, and have also had the control arm replaced. I got the panels brand new and had them professionally painted with Nissan AH3 color matched PPG paint by Virtual Body Shop. The Virtual Body Shop, Inc. is a fully equipped collision repair facility with top of the line equipment. All technicians are ICAR and ASE certified collision repair techs with years of experience in the automotive collision repair industry. I also purchased a Nissan OEM headlight and had it installed on the right side. The supports that hold the right corner fender and bumper were bent slightly down, so the right side of the bumper and fender are slightly lower than the left. The lines do run parallel with the hood though. The paint match isn't perfect if you're really discerning. I left the front right fog light out too, I don't ever use them and it gets cold air up by the intake so I didn�t buy one. They're quite affordable on eBay if desired. There is a dent in the fender as pictures show, it has been primed black but should eventually receive touch up paint (Nissan paint code AH3), it obviously does not effect driving. Please note that one of the wheel wells also has rust preventative (in picture), and one rim has some notable curb check (in picture). The first round of pictures were taken after detailing. The others were taken after I washed the car this week. Notice that the bottom of the front air dam has been cracked and has some paint chipping (in picture). Just cosmetic problems showing the age, overall the car is super solid. Everything is disclosed in the pictures. Obviously the body has some defects and the normal wear of a car this age, but the car is solid, the drive train great, and everything functions well as it should. Just check out the pictures, I tried to be as clear as possible. Someone will get a steal on this car!

Noted Spots

Other than that, the car is nice and straight, very sharp! There is a little more of the bad to disclose:
There is rust/bubbling on the t-tops, which obviously are replaceable (quite affordable on eBay if you really want them, or just grind and paint, I sprayed on some rust preventative which accounts for the whiteness around the rust on the t-tops). There is some bubbling by one of the windows, but it's not breaking through the paint at all, and a rust spot in front of each of the rear tires. There are 6 tiny holes in the hood to bolt down the hood scoop to (included, needs some adhesive). Again, each one of these things is addressed in the pictures! Please see for yourself! Hood Scoop is included, takes about 5 minutes to bolt on or off! Very Simple. See pic for how it looks on the car The underbody of this car is rock solid, looks like it has rust preventative liner on the bottom. Absolutely no problems there! The e-brake is weak; I just leave the car in gear when parked. All exhaust piping is solid, flows right to muffler inlet. Interior looks fine, especially for the year. Driver�s seat has the normal Z car ripping and passenger seat has some too, see picture. Paint is peeling in spots on front bumper and there are certainly chips, dings, and the noted lighter rust spots. Shift boots aren�t perfect. And plastics in the nice large hatch space have some scratching. OEM FLOOR MATS INCLUDED, they�re in good shape.

Drive train including engine and clutch has just 18,000 miles since install! Actual mileage (verify in pic) is 164,xxx. Expertly and religiously maintained.

This car is described to the best of my knowledge. Like any car from 1990, it�s not a brand new vehicle and this shouldn�t be assumed, it's 17 years old and certainly has its bad points, but if you�re looking for a great used Z for a great price, with a great drive train, you�ve found what you�re looking for!
