Aug 24, 2006: SoCal3S "mini-meet," held at Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA from 6-9pm. We had a great time!
Sep 4, 2006: San Diego Auto Swap Meet, held at Qualcomm Stadium, from 6am-2pm. Lots of American classic cars present. Barely any imports, but received many compliments on our cars.
Typical San Diego weather (mostly sunny). Met lots of people, made some contacts, great atmosphere!
Had to go "somewhere" to eat after the meet!
Sep 9, 2006: American Classic Car Show - 2nd Annual Mark Metz Memorial Fundraiser, held at Bates Nut Farm, Valley Center, CA. from 9am-4pm. Plenty of classics, but many newer cars and a few imports. PT Cruiser club showed up in force with 22 cars present!
Started the day with an all you can eat pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon breakfast. Lots of good raffles, over 300 cars on display, and great atmosphere!
I was parked next to one paying tribute to Richard Petty (#43).
I called this "purple passion." One of my favorites out there.
That is a cornfield on the right hand side, mountains straight ahead, and the line of cars down the middle.
- Sept 16-17th, 2006: Mitsubishi 3000GT/Dodge Stealth West Coast National Convention (WCNC), held at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV.
Won trophy for Best 2G (Second Generation 3000GT)!

Oct 1st, 2006 Extreme Autofest, held at the Coors Amphitheater, San Diego, CA.
Won 2nd place for Best 3000GT! Long day, lots of sun, but very rewarding!
