tonysmustangs's 1984 Ford MustangThis is my reuseable billet aluminum oil filter made buy TRUFILTER. Its pretty much a liftime oil filter
tonysmustangs's 1984 Ford MustangIt unscrews and comes apart so you can clean it. It was also made with a magnet inside to help catch the bad stuff.
tonysmustangs's 1984 Ford MustangJegs brand line lock for those awesome burnouts.
tonysmustangs's 1984 Ford MustangThis is a msd two step and rpm selector I will be installing soon. That way I can switch between two diff. rev limits. One for staging the other for top end.
tonysmustangs's 1984 Ford MustangThis is a long rod setup im planing to to run when i rebuild the motor. The picture shows a stock rod and piston along side the race version. The aftermarket piston are .040 je forged and the rods are eagle h beam. The stock rod is 5.2 inches long and the eagle is 5.7 inches long. What they did is move the wrist pin up 1/2 inch so they are the same hieght. Look how short the je piston is compared to the stock. Its way shorter which means it weighs less. Almost half. The reasoning behind this is to give the piston better leverage on the crankshaft, and the piston stay on top dead center a little bit longer. Most long rod motors can run more timing. They recomend 38 to 40 degrease total advance timing on the long rod 2.3

tonysmustangs's 1984 Ford MustangI already bought this just waiting on them to ship it. Its a D+D Motorsport tubular front end. My brother and I will be installing this soon. There is a lot of weight im going to lose here. Not sure the exact amount but somewere around 70 lbs. I am very weight concious with this car. Not sure you noticed. Thats one thing those sport compacts have on me they are alot lighter than I am. They make these with or without spring pertches.
tonysmustangs's 1984 Ford MustangTubular a arms. They revised the geomitry on these so they would handle better. D+D motorsport makes really good products. They make these with or without swaybar mounts.
tonysmustangs's 1984 Ford MustangCoil over strut convesion. I ordered there drag spring kit. They offer lots of diffent spring rates for all kinds of racing. This kit here eliminates your stock coil springs. The ride hieght is adjustable on this. Plus you lose like 16 lbs.
tonysmustangs's 1984 Ford MustangAluminum thermostat housing that is o ringed so you dont need a gasket. Plus this one allows you to plug off the hose running to the heater neatly. Got this one from motion dynamics.
tonysmustangs's 1984 Ford Mustang
tonysmustangs's 1984 Ford MustangNew pulley I just got. This is an aluminum timing belt crank pulley. The stock one is made of steel. This ways about 6oz. EVERY OUNCE COUNTS. CHEAPHP SELLS THIS ALSO
tonysmustangs's 1984 Ford Mustangswitch with shifter lever mount for my two step and line lock
tonysmustangs's 1984 Ford Mustang8 gallon fuel cell

Love the 2.3 pictures. Man about how much HP do you have, I'm doin the same thing accept for autocross and road racing. Some of those parts tyou got I've never seen before. Hey those headlights covers come in clear and help reduce drag.
