This is my father's '65 Corvair Corsa Coupe. This car was my daily driver for my two years in Nursing School at Towson University from '99 to '01 because I needed transportation when my '82 Camaro Z28 was dying on me. The 'vair is now back in the garage at my parents house, safe and sound. My dad has two other Corvairs, so he let me use this one until I could afford a new car. I figured I might as well make it look nice and go fast if I was going to be driving it for a while. I bought the I-ROC rims and tires and helped rebuild the engine. Only front wheels off of an I-ROC will work because the backspacing is different on the rears. The tires are 225/45/16 BF Goodrich Euro TAs. Mods include two hi-performance air filters, a water/alcohol injection system, a loud aftermarket exhaust system, electronic ignition, flame thrower coil, Taylor wires, Honda Civic seats, new carpet, all engine shrouds sanded and repainted, and a part off of a Corvair with air conditioning welded into the trunk to mount the spare tire. It has a four speed stick with a sweet acrylic shift knob my dad got at the Carlisle Car Show awhile back. It also has the wood steering wheel with the telescoping wheel option, a new old stock part my dad had lying around in the basement. My dad even had a set of floor mats new in th box and a complete set of chrome trim unwrapped down there. Whatever we couldn't find in the basement for this car, we got at the Corvair Ranch. This place is a huge Corvair junkyard and service shop. Need a part? Just call Jeff.
First pic is in my parent's driveway.

I now drive a 2001 Camaro V6. I couldn't afford the insurance on a V8, but my 3.8 is still pretty quick. Check it out by clicking on my other user ID "rally_red_01" in my Friend's List above. Check out my brother's new VW Golf GTI 337 (only 1,500 available in the U.S.) by clicking on "danger124" above.
