My project is under $1000 dollars and it was not intentional its been said the cheaper you go the worst the performance there wrong its all about the person thats creating there masterpiece and how much of an imagination they have.
I got so tired of all these so called import performance shops giving me the cold shoulder and shunning my ideas and dreams I said screw it I'll show them that I dont need to have a Honda civic , Acura ,Corvette or EVO to beat someone, all I need is some time, money.
My car started with a 1.3liter 68hp sohc engine I would add your typical performance filter, spark plugs and wire switched the exhaust from single to dual Ractive Mufflers and even put a Sneeky Pete Nos System on it with a 25 shot jet yeah... it wasnt to bad until I got Addicted to using it I mean really addicted it got so bad. Every intersection Light I would purge my system . So 4 engines later I decided on doing an engine swap I used a 1.8liter Ford Escort Gt engine with the wiring harness and Ecu and a T04 Garrett
turbo from off of a ford thunderbird Sc and an intercooler from a Mustang SVO. Fabricated the Manifold the engine head was shaved 11.9 thousandth of an inche and the engine block was given a .20" bore fabricated the front bottom chassis made adjustable traction bars and solid sub frame bar. Stripped the bumper support and entire interior bare including the wheel well...
1786lbs. is stock weight and 1236lbs. is my cars weight.
