Hi everyone, I'm in the progress of completely restoring my 86 IROC. The body was soda blasted to remove all the rust and undercoating, then covered in Epoxy primer to protect the newly paint-free panels. All the body parts were cleaned (fenders, hood, bumpers etc...) I then brought the chassis to my local GM dealer for body work.
Everything was shaved, doors, firewall, gas cap, antenna, side moldings, rear bumper cavity, front bumper nose emblem, side skirts emblems... wiper motor is not done yet but will be, and I'm probably forgeting some stuff.
I added a 4 point roll bar, relocated the battery to the trunk, made seat brackets for my new seats, installed subframe connectors and a new driver side floor was put in place.
I bought the car 7 years ago, at 18, stored it for the last 3 years, and finally it has started.
More pics to come, stay tuned!
