Smokem87's 1987 Buick Grand National Clay bar detail shine!

I spent about 4 hours rubbing a clay bar on all the surfaces thinking that I wasn't doing too much except getting a good arm workout. I used a spray bottle filled with a cleaner/wax as a lubricant and just did one surface at time. When I was done and took a step back, I was almost afraid to "ruin" the shine by putting any other products on it. I did use a polish and followed that with a liquid wax. When all was said and done, EVERY show I entered after that I won a FIRST place trophy or Crowd Favorite. No seconds, no thirds. It was unbelievable. The only difference was that the paint POPPED!!

Yo Steve! Erika's starts in early May I think. They put a sign under their normal street sign stating every Tuesday night. I usually roll in there around 5pm and leave at the end, which is as late as 8:30pm in the height of the Summer. When it first starts, it's more like 7:30pm. Hope to see you and the crew there sometimes. SMOKEM
