I bought this car on march 3 2006 for $2,500
This is my '70 javelin the day I brought it home, in early March '06-fresh out of the garage where it had been sitting 9 years.
The car was originally a straight 6 with an automatic on the column. Since then, the car had a 360 AMC small block and a 904 tranny put in it, along with front disc brakes and a rear spoiler. When I bought the car it had been sitting in a garage for 9 years half put back together. The owner before me was restoring it. He had taken the doors and fenders off along with the entire interior to be painted the right way. He had it painted ?74 corvette orange, and had bed liner put on the floors. He had put the fenders and doors back on along with the side glass, but that was it. Then he just let the car sit.
This is what the interior looked like when i got it.
I bought the car, got it running, then started on the drive train by putting an amc model 20 3.54 posi rear end in it (in place of the open rear end that was in it) along with a 727 fully manual shift value body, 4 clutch plate tranny tied to a tci stall converter with a B & M shifter.
