Here's my 2002 RAV4 2.0 EDGE. Nothing to shout about, as this is the base model for the Australian market (But it's good enough for a P plate driver.).
The RAV was an ex-demo & my parents got it because they needed a car urgently when we first moved to Perth couple of years ago. I learned to drive (And passed my driving test!) in it plus I love ever single bit of it. It's also very easy to handle, and I'll recommend it to anyone looking for their first car.
For those who are wondering, "Ride Your Emotions!" was the slogan used on TVCMs & print ads for the 2nd gen. RAV4J/ RAV4L back in 2000 when it first came out in Japan.
My goal (Hopefully.) is to save enough money after I graduate from university & get a good career to do a 99% OEM-spec style conversion for it to look like a Japanese-spec RAV4J AeroSport (Shown below.). I know (And have heard.) that some people will complain that I'd rather get another car & do it up, but nobody that I know has done this to a 2nd gen. RAV4 in Australia (and I'm a try to keep things as OEM as possible person.). It will make an interesting project car once I have the chance (And funds. Need to find a job first!) to turn it into reality.

Upgrade to a 2003 - 2005 RAV4 Cruiser 2.4. :D
