Here are a few performance pics:
Of course, this is the 2.5 that makes it all happen, complete with warm air intake with K&N cone filter (no my intake is not dirty. It has a crease in it and the light was hitting it funny). This is before and after pics of my looming. The blue isn't as baby-blue in person, my camera just screwed it up.
And to give me an extra boost, my Jet Performance Power Control Module, retails at $259.95 I got it for $103. Totally remapps the ignition sequence and monitors throttle position. It also has a TPS (throttle position sensor) display, so the more you press on the gas, the more LEDs light up. Very cool, but very distracting. The first pic is at idle, the second at WOT.
Here are some before and after pictures (for before and after videos, goto my videos page, here)
Here are the parts that I had installed:
Here are the after pics of the install with my MagnaFlow muffler cat and Vibrant Performance tip:
Finally, I did what is known in the cloud world as a "torque mod." In the 1st generation cloud cars, right before the trasmission shifts, it sends a segnal to the ECU to stop the fuel injection all together, to make for a smoother shift. What I've done is install a switch to kill this signal, keeping constant torque all the way through the shift. The result is when the tranny shifts, it kind of lurches forward. I might even get my tires to chirp someday.
*EDIT* I DID get my tires to chirp in an automatic for the first time the other night while using the torque mod. I reccomend this to any cloud owner that street races.
