Updated with restoration pictures 2007-2008, finished in July -08.
The old US "30 dollar paintjob" =( was starting to chip and crack, so it was time to do something to the outside of the Impala.
I took it down to bare metal, and build it up again with epoxyprimer.Painted in waterbased Mercedes Classic White and Silverflake on the roof.
Finally the car looks as my plan has been for it since -99.

This Impala came to Sweden in 1988. Me and my wife bought it in 1999. Bodyrestored in US (frame off) in the early 80;s, later we have totally rebuilt the drivetrain and added a th350 aut. We use our "love affair" mostly for cruising and meetings.
