OK update.....
Engine has been pulled out and is having a complete rebuild.
Features.
Cam Machined to stage 3, Bored to 40 thou with oversize flat top pistons,Head shaved, new hardened valves, new lifters, 2bbl 350 holley, manifold ported, electronic ignition, race coil, lowered 3''. New timing chain, water pump and thermostat.
Steering box reconditioned, gearbox serviced with new kick down cable.
15/11/08.........Well I had the car all ready for a tune and then, tick tick click, the end valve was sticking and the rocker was jamming on the bolt. So i now have invested 500 bucks into some Yella Terra Roler rockers. they will arrive tomorow.
