Here are a couple of "before" shots of my '80 Toyota Celica GT 5 speed on June 18,'03.
18 days later... Here we are in our local 4th of July Parade. Even though I didn't intend it to be in the car show, I took 2nd place Overall in the Classic Custom Car class... (our '73 Corvette took 1st! It's behind mine in the 2nd picture. Look for it on another page.)
Coming off of our test track this year (knew I shouldn't have worn a white shirt!) Just a Bit dusty! It still has the 20R engine and 5 speed but we at 3Gs Motorsports can't leave Anything stock! Runs Real Good! None of the work on our vehicles is done by anyone but us. We do it All from the ground up!
Having our own 3/8 mi. Oval test track and 2 side-by-side 150' Mud drag pits on the property makes it Real nice!!! In the background you can see a couple of our other project cars... The '84 Cutlass Supreme Brougham will be a Dirt track Pro-Stock ('08/'09 season) and the Firebird will end up becoming a Radical 4wd Mud Drag Truck(?) on a fully modified Full size Jeep Wagoneer chassis ('08/'09 season). We've got more out of view, including 2 Full size Jeep Wagoneers... Always something to do and have fun with!!! hmmm... how 'bout a customized and radically modified steel-tracked Snow/Sand/Mud Drag mobile?!
UPDATE: Unfortunately, the new year has brought some set-backs with health issues for our whole family... hopefully to be over soon. So, when we get things going again, we're going to try to get this ready for the '07 end of season All CASH shoot-out in October, maybe even a slightly different paint scheme! Check back...

Dirt track racing, that's what the Celica was made for. That's really cool that you race though. Good work and keep us updated.
