peniesandginas's 1985 Ford LTD Country Squire

Alright... I saw this one at a local car lot and I couldn't pass it up... This is a 1985 Ford LTD Country Squire Station Wagon with 47,xxx original miles. As far as I can tell, this car is equipped with every possible option, including the alloy wheels, rear spoiler, and ultra-rare trip computer. Normally these wagons get used and trashed... Not this one. I am the second owner of this car. The original owner had done a couple of modifications to the car... One of them is putting 2 police spotlights on the car, one on each A-Pillar, also some amber lights on the grill. I will be keeping that stuff on for now, at least. The spotlights are great, they are the old 80s style chrome ones that thay don't make anymore, and they are installed very well.

I am working on cleaning up this car and getting as close to factory condition as possible. This car drives like brand new. I have inverted the tires to the whitewall side, because this car should have whitewalls. The front fender flares were removed as well, those were rediculously ugly.
Here is what it looks like now:

There is no point in having a wagon if you dont have the rear seats..

How about the 2-way tail gate:

I decided to go ahead and install my Alpine CDA-7873 CD head unit along with a Starmate Replay Sirius Satellite Radio reciever, for my listening pleasure, I have also installed 4 Infinity Kappa series speakers.

Ryan, What's you wagon look like under the hood, any PICS? If yours has a regular looking air cleaner on it, it's a '85. If it has a fuel injection looking system like on modern 5.0's, it's an '86 or a very late '85. I'm thinking the owner before you added the third brake light to the rear. I'll add a under hood PIC to my page. Clark

Nice looking wagon! Are you sure that's an '85 Country Squire? I see it has a third brake light on the rear, '85's didn't have a third brake light, they came out in '86. Take a look at my '85! Clark Griswold
