This is me project for the winter. It's a 1984 Renault Fuego 2.2L Turbo. It is the stock 2.2L Turbo charged. Should be a interesting project. I have also fitted to Euro Spec R21 parts to the dated 2.2L J7T engine.

Some Info:
Engine : J7T Renault 2.2L Engine
This engine was sold in Europe as a 2.0L in the Fuego. They also had later versions in the R25 and Espace. There was also a 2.0L 12v Turbo version of this engine available in the R21. Now my American version was produced for all of 2 yrs in North America and was a 2.2L with a whopping 91hp.. It was available in the R18i Sport wagon and the Renault / Eagle Medallion. I have changed the Intake manifold to the R21 Spec. I have also changed the Valve cover and Plenum cover on the engine to match the turbo setup.

Frame : It is a 1984 Renault Fuego. I have gotten rid of the front and rear bumper in favor of the 1992 Argentinean versions. Also I have scraped the headlamps in favor of the European versions. Also the rear seat will not be making a comeback on this project.

Other: I have ripped out the Bosh L Jetronic unit and replaced it with the Megasquirt ECU. Bigger brakes (9.3" stock, new ones are 12" from Integra)
