I used these companies:

Innovative MountsAvailable soon at:Password JDM
n1 Concepts

This engine swap is the first of it's kind in North America. Tim from Innovative Mounts, the makers of the highest quality engine mounts available, dropped the motor in and fabricated the new engine mounts. They're guaranteed, but it won't be necessary. n1 Concepts supplied the new engine. It arrived quickly and was in great shape. It was crated well and came pre-tested to avoid any problems with this project.

The car started it's life as a Storm Silver Metallic 5sp base model. As cars go, it is a great car - plenty of space, seats 5, 35 miles per gallon, handles VERY well...but it needs more power.

The new engine: - 220 hp @7800 rpm on 2400 lbs = Beast

I am using the best mounts available, because I don't want to have to take this giant engine in and out to fix the urethane. It is a tight squeeze!

All I can say is SWEEEEET! I love the Fit(my wife wants one). I would love to drive yours-I drove an auto w/paddle shift a couple of weeks ago and it was roomy and handled better than expected! So, is their any room for turbo?!!!

your car is a great project....dont worry about the heat you will take from the v8 guys...some people just dont think in power to weight ratios, which the fit could probably get the weight under 2400 lbs and with just the NA stock engine have 240 hp which is awesome plus there is room to add Forced induction and be making 300+ hp which would be insane in such a light vehicle...would be pretty good at the strip but if the suspension is worked out with the heavier engine, it will be a nasty autox or regular circuit track car....i think the fit will be hondas next big thing....actually i think the whole b segment of cars could be the next thing in tuning with the idea of lightweight nimble cars with decent hp...check out my aveo5 sometime...nothing much going on with it right now but i will have pics up tomorrow with lowering springs and it looks alot better

great answer, thank you for the compliment on my car and I wish you the best of luck on your project if I can give you any advice I would love too. Can you please repost your answer in my regular guest book so everyone can see it. Im just trying to work closer to a unity with custom cars,by the way the v-tec is what inspired by 9600 rpm redline

why make a slow car, only little faster for a lot of money. Why not start with something that has a much better foundation and work it from there. You can easily spend 10,000 just to bring the car up to sub standard race specs, and in japan or europe I can understand that, but here where displacement still rules the street and technology and displacement rule the track, no matter how i try to understand this I cant, can you explain to me why you would take a honda fit and attempt to work that over many other cars out there
