This is my 1967 Riviera project car. It was first purchased in Vegas, and has only been in Michigan for about two years. Because it was a desert car the body is very solid and there is minimal rust, however, the interior and vinyl is cracked and sun damaged. The chrome is good, except for a small dent in the rear bumper. The car was origionally light gold but was repainted in Vegas because of the sun-fade, i plan to repaint it a factory color but it needs some minor exterior work done first. None of the gauges work right now and most of the electrical components in the vehicle will have to be replaced. The engine runs pretty strong, but will need some carb work and fine tuning. I was told that the car has been running on regular unleaded gasoline for some time now and hope that no major damage was done. So far everything seems ok but we're still checking it out. Basically, all this car really needs is a few new parts, new seats, a valve job, some engine repairs, steering work, paint, alot of care and detailing. After that i plan on putting on a better sounding exhaust and probably a new intake manifold with a dual 4 bbl carb setup. Hopefully I can have it done by this time next year in time for the Woodward Dream Cruise. I will continue to post more pictures as things progress. Please leave any suggestions in the guest book.

Currently: engine ready to go in

Now thats a car. That's gonna be a beauty when your done with it. You gonna paint it yourself or have it done? Paint is such a tricky thing especially if you don't have the right conditions like a dust proof area..etc. Good luck with that monster. If you get a momemnt check out my '72 all original Cougar XR7 and vote on my poll...thanx!
