Tellico Tested!
trip video link, click here
The GPS Track:
Wow, all I can say is I was not prepared mentally for what Tellico offered. Plagued with small problems the first half of the day it ended up being a good confidence builder and test for weak links. The day started with trail 4 and meeting the rest of the club. my linkage wouldn't stay engaged in 4wd. I eventually got it to stay and didn't have a problem with it the rest of the day but I need to get a relocation bracket for it before the next venture.
On the way to Helicopter pad the bolts on my shifter came loose. I really don't understand this since I put Loctite on it myself. Well I'll go from blue to red Loctite soon. Al, one of the riders and a transmission specialist was quick to help out since I was going to tear the console out to repair, he realized he could get to them from below and had me going much faster than I would have.
The only other casualties I had were a dead CB (bad fuse) and a limb into my windshield KC light which doesn't seem to work now.
I definitely need more clearance and less weight. I didn't need the extra gas I was hauling and the weight simply caused me to bottom my bumper out on EVERY ledge. The Kennesaw Multi carrier held up great to the beating though.

Group at Slickrock entrance
Slick rock and some folks making repairs as we got there.
Sitting at the bottom of slickrock and looking up for the first time, I realize how all the videos I have seen of this obstacle simply can not do it justice. This is the most intimidating thing I have ever seen offroad.
Some pics other folks took:

Neal, what's up? You never visit the forum anymore... what happened? That Jeep is looking awesome man. Sorry to hear about the flop! But you're still alive and kickin' so that's good.
