This is a 1996 mitsubishi galant from ARUBA.
This car was bought in the USA.
Stock it has a sohc 2.4l 4cyl 4g64 engine,with automatic transmission
My project is to make the sohc 4g64 engine to a dohc 4g64 engine,and also to make it manual transmission,and further in the future to make it turbocharged.
The sohc head use a distrubutor,and the dohc use a cam angle sensor,so it's going to be a problem to start cause the wiring harness doesn't wired to the dohc head.
To put the car start i decided to use a microtech.

ACT 2100 clutch with heavy duty pressure plate, a XACT 8 LBS flyweel and lsd lock.
Eagle rod and Wiseco pistons for 4g64 block with 4g63 head.
1G eclipse 4g63 DOHC head

You can see the difference of the ports,that the dohc head is bigger than the sohc head
Also is the 1g dohc intake manifold bigger than the sohc manifold
