This is the only pic I got of my car right now. I'm working on it. The sun was too bright and I was using a webcam with my laptop.

Duggalo's 1982 Pontiac Trans Am

The engine is a rebuilt 350, with mostly Edelbrock on the top half. Trying to figure out if the motor is Pontiac or Chevy. Anyone who can offer help on this should email me ( duggalo@gmail.com )

I was told there is a diff between a true Pontiac motor and Chevy motor. Only difference I guess is something with the timing cover? Buddy of mine said it's most likely a mid to late 70's motor.

sorry don up untill the 80's they didn't use coperate motors aka they all made different engines why you can get a 454 chevy and a 455 pontiac but it is a chevy if it's the orignal engine gm forced pontiac to use the corprate motor instead of their 4.9 turbo's... the offset scoop is a design feature for the 4.9 turbo which got dropped... incase your wondering buick's engine development was allowed to continue which lead to the 3.8 turbo in the regals and the trans am later on ... but ya it's a chevy small block

well pontaic and chevy are both owned by GM so itll be the same moter either way.
