I bought this 65 Mustang Fastback in March '06. Added front power disc brakes and new drums in the rear, all new suspension front and back. In the front, I used 1" lower springs and a 1" lowering block on the new leaf spings in the back.
I went back to the original color - Phoenician Yellow - only offered in 1965.
In 2008 - added a rebuilt 5 speed (T5) and repleaced the rear with 3.55 gear. It's like driving a whole new car!

very nice car tom. I too have a 65 fastback in the same color, debating whether to paint it original. needs a complete restoration that I have already started. K code kar, so I am thinking it would be better to go back to original. Is yours original GT? It looks great with the phoenician yellow and black gt stripes. what suspension did you put on it, and what do you think of your T5? Thanks. Jonathan
